Remote help for long distance improvement from shop to house-Dish Network

I have Dish Network. IR remotes work great in the house.

Problem--I have a shop that is about 100 yards away. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2603423230037819013LsKsRi that pic shows where the house is and the building sits where the sand is to the left. The company has come out twice and charged me twice and they cannot get the remote to hit the receiver upstairs to change the channel in the shop.

The shop has a signal booster. On of the guys told me the remote was not trying to send the signal through the air back to the house, but, rather, back up the coax to the house. That did not sound right. But, I do not know, so he may be right.

Is there a booster, repeater, etc. that might work?

I understand where you are coming from MD99. I am happy to assist you with this. The best option to get this corrected would be to get a receiver installed in the shop so you don't have to deal with this issue any longer. Please send a private message with your DISH account or phone number and I can see what options are available.

What about this item:

I was assured by the two techs that I paid that came out that I did not need another receiver and the charges that accompany that extra equipment.
