I wanted them
both to succeed, even though I felt this show wasn't really all that....scary. But any fully serialized drama swinging for the fences on Big-Four broadcast TV is a welcome sight, IMO. Heck, it's just great to see Terry O'Quinn in the kind of off-kilter, twisted, vaguely supernatural role he does so well. Last thing I want is to see his unique talents wasted on another formulaic cop/doc procedural. Which, after this, is probably going to be his next gig.

Plus, let's face it gentlemen - there was some serious eye-candy on this show. Vanessa Williams is such a classic beauty, and she only ranked third or forth amongst the comely beauties residing at the Drake.
