Vizio HD Razor TV -/ Tune In Radio app/ No Screen saver?

This Vizio Smart LED LCD TV is about one year old. I'm listening to Tune In Radio which is just a non moving screen. I noticed that 45 minutes after listening that no screen saver kicks in! I'm sure that can't be good for the screen. I almost fell asleep listening to internet talk radio! I checked the manual and couldn't find anything regarding a screensaver. I can't find any settings either unless I overlooked them.

It's an LCD. A static image is not going to hurt it at all. Screen savers pretty much serve no purpose nowadays. I don't use them on any LCD or DLP devices I have. I've never had a problem with a static image on screen for hours. At work we've had static images on LCD sets for days at a time and never had any detrimental effect.

Now the old plasma sets we have at work are a different story. Those have burned in images.

OK - thanks : D

Google searching burn in LED LCD tv's brought up different opinions with some saying that it is much more difficult for burn in on lcd led tv's, but that it can happen\. I wasn't sure if it was an issue or not. I will take your word for it.
