Currently I have a 5.1 setup of JBL sat10 speakers and a JBL Bass16 subwoofer and I am looking to upgrade my front speakers and subwoofer. My budget is $400 and I am not willing to go much over that. I was thinking of getting primus infinity p143 or p153s to replace my front and center speakers and then buying a sub for $200 such as the BIC F12 or Polk PSW111. Do you guys think I could get the sat10 rears to blend with the infinity speakers. The way my rears are set up right now they are directly to the side of me at ear level. I could move them slightly behind me by using stands but only by about a foot. I can't mount the speakers because I live at my parents house and they wouldn't want me drilling holes in the wall. Originally I had thought about buying a speaker package like the energy take classic 5.1 system or the Martin Logan MLT-2 system for roughly the same price but I think I could get better sound doing it the other way. What do you think?
