Hate to disappoint but I'm not good to go because this situation just became even more complicated...
As I mentioned in my last post, I changed "Email Safe List" to [ON] and added those avsforum addresses to the list. Apparently turning that list [ON] tells Comcast those are the ONLY emails you want to receive, because I haven't received ANY email messages since I made that change yesterday. I sent myself a "Test 1" message this morning... it Sent fine but was never returned.
So I just went back in, deleted the avsforum addresses and turned that list [OFF] again. I've since sent myself "Test 2" and "Test 3" messages and both came back fine, but "Test 1" still hasn't showed up.
Did I mention how much I HATE Comcast?
BUT I MAY HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION...
I belong to a Yahoo forum which sends me anywhere from 20 to 100 emails a day... and I haven't had an issue receiving those messages for years (of course even those stopped arriving after making the above change yesterday). I think the reason those messages always come through is because I have a filter set up in my account settings. I'm going to go back in now to set up a filter for this forum. Will post back with instructions later.
