Post here if you're not receiving emails - Page 4

Hmm Thank you for checking but I didnt make any changes to my profile. Still not receving any notifications and I noticed all my subscriptions were set to "site only" so I just changed them to immediate to see if that helps.

OK, back in business - getting notifications again. Thanks again for your help.

Just an update my email notifications returned when I opened my email Tuesday morning. I got all my notifications except for about 2 dozen from the time period sunday evening to early monday morning. Its no big deal as I caught up by visiting my subscribed threads. Thank god there wasn't much activity that night in the OPPO threads or I would have been way behind.

Thanks for fixing this.

All emails, including two today were bounced back by your provider. It says "No such user here".

That's really weird. I just did a test from two different accounts and both went through perfectly. I don't know why it would error out on just the forum.

Even though this is technically a separate issue, I'm posting this here because once I started receiving my notifications again, I kept thinking there was still a problem... and was worried they might even stop again. So I've been doing this since the notifications started up a few weeks ago.

If for example a certain thread I subscribe to happened to get 3 new messages each day. On the first day I get notified of 3 new messages... I click the link, read all 3, and exit. On the second day, I get notified of 6 new messages... I click the link, only 3 are new, and the other 3 are from the previous day. The next day it's 9 new messages... and again only 3 are new. This continued as long as the new messages were on the same page. Once I went to the next page, it started over.

That explanation may not be precisely accurate but you get the idea. Since then, I've developed a habit of clicking on the link below the last post on the page... in this case it would have shown "3 Unread Posts" for example. Clicking on it resets the counter and changes it to "0 Unread Posts". Since I started doing that, everything has been perfect... and it's nice to be back. smile.gif

Hi,

Your email provider is bouncing them back with "Unable to resolve MX record for [domain name]: servfail" as the error.

Hi Mike,

Still not getting any thread notification emails. My provider SureWest said they are not receiving any copies of bounced back emails that you have sent. frown.gif

Can you please try again. They need you to send the bounced message to the following:
Quote:
atstest@surewest.net

Attention ticket # 2013012500544

with:

To/from/date/time/subject of message that was not delivered so we can check logs.

Thanks again,

Paul

Paul,

Multiple emails have been sent to them.

You can switch to Gmail to confirm they're not handling the emails correctly.

OK, I changed to a Yahoo email address yesterday. I expected some daily updates overnight, but still no email.

I know Yahoo will reject stuff as "Spam" if it's from an "unknown" sender and you don't have the sender in your Contacts list. It might be wise to make the two AVS senders new Contacts?

Several emails show as not only delivered, but opened and clicked links redirected back to the site.
