I tried to perform a hard reset but did not get it to work.
Here is a picture of what the unit looks like powered on:
Hmm, Pandora seems to work fine for me, only buffers momentarily between songs... Im hardwired off the router.
On another note.... I was watching a few Netflix movies noticing the PQ seems a little poor....at times. I started looking at settings of the Oppo and my AVR, which is an H/K AVR 3600.... The AVR has an available "BYPASS" mode which is not selected at this point... When I select bypass, I loose audio but maintain video. Should I choose the HDMI #2 out of the Oppo to get audio?
Is my thinking correct in that selecting bypass will allow the Oppo to do all the upscaling leaving the AVR to handle only audio output? On the flip side, should I assume that right now, the AVR is doing the upscaling, and not the Oppo?..... or are "both" devices working to upscale the video?....which cant be good I would think.
Yes, I agree. I just wont have the OSd capability from the AVR which is only really an issue when wanting to change source modes or go from 7.1 to 2.0 for music. The window on the AVR is small and inconvienent for reading the info.
Yes, a single HDMI from the Oppo #1 HDMI out to the AVR, then AVR to the TV
1080i is the resolution on the TV. Its a bit older and is actually a DVI input fed HDMI via an adapter
