Dedicated HTPC Intel HD2500 or should I get HD4000?

I have all of my system components coming in the next day or so and am second guessing if I should have gone with i3-3225 rather than the i3-3220 that I ordered. From the research I have done it appeared that the HD2500 graphics, although not good for gaming, would be fine for 1080p playback and bit-streaming HD audio. At the moment I am not planning on doing anything else with this system. All of my BD backups are full format M2TS and will be stored locally on this machine - 12TB JBOD.

I am interested in high quality 1080p playback so should I just order the i3-3225 or should I build it with the 3220 and ad-in a stand up card later if I need it? I see the Radeon HD 6570 is available for about the same price it would cost me to re-order the 3225 and send back the 3220. This machine will not run 24/7 so I am not concerned with small differences in power consumption.

MOBO - ASROCK H77 PRO4
MEM - 2 x 2GB/GSK F3-12800CL9D
SSD - 128GB SSD
Silverstone GD08 case

Thanks for any and all input.

You will be fine for 1080P with the i3-3220. I ended up buying the 3225 with HD 4000 and I will say it is noticeably better than the i3-2100 it replaced (HD 2000).

Tizi,
Thanks and appreciate the response. I will go ahead and build with the HD2500 graphics and if for some reason need to upgrade will add in a better performing graphics solution. I have plenty of space in that case and made sure my power supply would have no issues in that department as well.

One other question,
I have been playing around with WMC and Mediabrowser and it seems to work pretty well - other than some trouble with file name recognition (for the life of me I cannot get it to properly scrape the spiderman movies). Is there any specific reason to look at XBMC as the interface for my movie collection over MB? It appears it may do a better job and there is some automation around renaming all of my movie files but other than that was wondering if there would be any specific advantage. I do have some iso's that are playing fine in MC using Virtual Clone Drive.

Is there a reason to use one over the other? Anyone using both?

As far was what front end you use on your HTPC, it is a personal choice. Check out assassin's sticky thread and his blog. If you purchase a membership (great deal I might add), it will guide you through everything.
