Good afternoon,
My TV Setup consist of
1. 46'' Samsung LCD
2. Samsung BluRay Player
3. Scientific Atlanta cable box
4. Onkyo Amplifier
My goal is to keep the Blu-Ray and Scientific Atlanta cable box on my TV furniture but to move my Onkyo Amplifier downstairs as it's pretty ugly
I have seen two solutions
1. IR Repeater..
2. Nextgen IR to RF
With the IR Repeater, I can keep my current remote as is and it will send a IR signal to a IR receiver close to my main TV.. and will send that IR signal downstars to my Onkyo..
With the nextgen, I add a RF battery to my current remote and it will send a RF signal directly to the nextgen box who will transfer it back to IR.
With the nextgen solution, will I still be able to control my Blu-Ray and Cable box using my current IR signal and for my onkyo it will send a RF signal ?
My setup will be pretty hybrid as some components will be away (onkyo) and some will stay close to tv (bluray and cable box)
Thanks so much for the help..
Pierre
