If the Giants are on a DH network this week, why can't we get PHI/PIT or ATL/WAS early on FOX instead of CHI/JAX late? At least the early 2 games are divisional rivals.
I thought as long as the home team is not playing on a singleheader network, they are allowed to show another game on the other network at the same time.

If FOX NY can only air one game, they are going to air one alone at 4 rather than airing a game up against the hometown Giants game.

FOX couldnt air against the giants even if they wanted to.

It doesnt matter singleheader or doubleheader the rule is you cant air a game against the local team when they are home.

Correction. They (FOX NY) HAVE to air one alone at 4, can't compete against home team in home market. NFL broadcast rules. (But you already knew that. biggrin.gif)

FYI, for NFL Network's Thursday Night Football, Cardinals vs Rams, the OTA simulcast stations are:

KPHO-Phoenix
KPLR-St. Louis

You're right.

I'm saying even if they had a choice, they'd air a late game. The competing network is looking for ratings over relevance.

HOU@NYJ Cablevision LI, NY & WWOR OTA

Both look good, however WWOR as usual not doing true 5.1, even though receiver is lighting up 5.1. The announcers can be heard in the front surrounds.
