Not sure how to set up Fronts/Rears

I recently inherited some DefTech Speakers eek.gif and I’m unsure where to properly place them.

My speakers are as follows:
1X CS-8040HD
1X ProSub 1000
2X ProMon 1000
2X Mythos Gems (not XLs)

I plan to have the sub placed behind my couch, but my real concern is whether I should use the ProMon 1000s as Front or Rears and same for the Gems.

The promonitor 1000s have larger drivers with a 5.25" woofer while the Gems have dual 3.5" woofers. I'd use the Promonitors up front.

But since you do have all of these speakers why dont you try it both ways and decide which you like best? You've got nothing to lose but a little time.
