Repair vinyl on leather/vinyl match Berkline chairs

My Berklines are 8 years old and I've noticed 4 vertical slits (cracks?) on the inside of the arm area of one of the chairs. They are each about an inch long. The arm is a wedge style. I'd really like to repair this if possible so that they don't continue to spread. Has anyone had success on fixing this problem?

Roman, is it possible that you may have a replacement cover if it comes to that? is it difficult to replace?

Which style group do you have?

If this is a domestic one, I am afraid I cannot help, but if it is an imported one depending on the cover (if still available) I may be able to help.

I believe it is domestic

C090 A 54N
Pattern 70610261L
Color 7474
Fin 7

Can it be repaired since there is little chance of replacing the covering? Surely there is something that can fix small tears/cracks.

Yes, that is a domestically made recliner, and that leather is gone...

I would suggest contacting a local furniture repair shop. Sometimes they can do that kind of repair.

Hi Roman and hdtvluvr, another option is calling an auto upholstery repair shop.
