RX-V1900 and YDS-12 ipod dock

Hello All,

It's been a while since my last visit. Since then I've been enjoying the heck out of my RX-V1900. It couldn't be better!

I just received the YDS-12 ipod dock. It works and sounds terrific through the amp. I was wondering if I can get an on-TV scrren display for the ipod. I've been through the manual to no avail.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. OH - It's a 2nd gen ipod touch with firmware 4.2.1 and the TV is a Panasonic TC-P65S2

Thanks in advance!

Ponz

Was that a dumb question??

I was wondering the same thing.

On another note, I just bought this receiver second hand from a friend. I got it at a GREAT deal! My main use will be mainly for audio i.e. in house speaker system, as opposed to a surround sound system. I can get two sets of speakers to work, but I cannot get the other two sets to work at the same time. All my tests show that the speakers work and if I flip the rooms, I get sound. So, it has to be the reciever.

I am not a pro, but can I not push to the other 2 sets of speakers in a 7.1 set up?

You should be able to hear those two speakers unless there is something wrong with the unit.
