Best calibration device for HP LP2480zx 24 Dreamcolour

Hi all
So we have the HP Dreamcolors in our small studio and getting them balanced via freelance engineers has always been a difficult undertaking.
We are wondering if the Spyder 4 or other may allow us to calibrate these to a very accurate level. These monitors are used for client attended colour grading sessions in Post Production and VFX.

I just finished calibrating a couple of these monitors. I used CalMan and their CalPC Client, and an i1Pro. The monitor's built in Rec.709 color space option is pretty spot on. Blue errors the most, but not too bad. It's just the greyscale that needed work. Make sure if you switch color spaces that the "auto EDID update" is set to "on", otherwise the monitor might get stuck in it's "native gamut".

No problem. There are other software and hardware solutions. The stuff I listed is what I use, and has worked for me.......for the most part. Let me know if you have any other questions.
