Just Auditioned An svs pb13 ultra

Ok,
i went to elite electronics in aus and had a listen to the svs pb13 ulra.
One word
wow
its seriously a great subwoofer for 2k.
I did this because i wanted to get the difference between my subsonic xs1 and the svs sub

Differences:
the svs can go deeper that the subsonic xs1 and doesnt have as loud port noise as the subsonic
the svs is still heavy
subsonic is compact

Now, im looking into either subsonic xs2 or svs sb-12nsd

Quick question, where did they put the PB13 Ultra? Was it in the corner of the room or along the side wall?

So I guess you're going to retract. BTW there other subs better than what you have for less.wink.gif

You cant get a better sub in australia than the xs1 for what price its at. Period

Never heard of subsonic before. How much does the xs1 or xs2 go for ?

Taking a quick look at the specs, it seems the subsonic's would find it hard to keep up with the DVD ? Not trying to pre judge but the amp alone seems Unger powered compared to the svs ?

The xs1 goes for $1200
XS2 goes for $900
The subwoofer has more than enough power o play loud and go low. Ive never heard it distort.
Its quick and fast.
Drops looow.
