Pioneer Elite not turning on. Please Help!

I have a 42 inch Pioneer Elite
PRO 435PU
When I turn on the receiver box and/or the TV, I get steady flashing between the green "on" light and the red "standby" light. This happens on both even if the are hooked up completely separate. Any ideas?

Got the TV to turn on for 20 seconds and there were flashing green and red boxes on thE screen.

Hi Mechetti, I have a PRO 435 and have the same issue. However I just purchased it used ( no owners manual) and am in the middle of setting it up. Can you tell me what cables you use and do you use the "white" or "black" connections fo signal. What do you use for media source. Once I go forward I'll get you some info.
