Specific Blacks and Gray for HT

I searched on this topic and can not find anything specific to Blacks and Grays. Specifically looking for the specific Black and Gray to use in a HT.

Pantone and Munsell have specific colors and while I am a rookie, I understand that there are many BLACKS and many GRAYS.

So what I am looking for from you guys is:

"I used Benjarman Moore; P/N XXAA11; Black and P/N ZZBB2; Gray"

I have not been able to find this info on the web concerning the Color Black and Color Gray for Home Theater.

Obviously darker is always better, but I know one of the standards in the HT rooms here is mouse ear black from the Disney Collection.

I found that Valspar's Almost Charcoal is very, very close to the Munsel N5.0 Gray.

Should be good for any HT Walls looking for a mid-dark neutral gray.

I used the Benjamin Moore black that you are talking about. I got it in a matte finish and it is very dark. I think this is the question that you are asking. Benjamin Moore pain is second to none. I will never use any other paint. I goes on very very good and does not smell too bad. The Aura is very nice but is expensive. I goes on the walls the best and has the best coverage per sq. The next level down (forgot the name) is also very good just a little thicker. When both paints are on the walls you can not tell the difference between them.
