I have a JVC RS40 projector that is stuck on the blue screen. It boots up correctly and it displays the D ILA screen and then only the blue screen. However, the "menu" function still works and is displayed on the screen. HDMI input one and two are both having this problem. Whem connected devices are off "HDMI 1" "No input" in white lettering is displyed and when the device is switvhed on the "No Input" disappears and the "HDMI" lettering changes color from white to yellow, but no picture just blue screen. If HDMI cord is unplugged or the device is switched off the "No Input" re-appears so i belive the projector is detecting the inputs just not displaying the picture.There are no lights blinking or otherwise illuminated on the front of the unit indicating any problems and the info button in the menu it states 742 hrs on original bulb...
This just happened out of the blue one day. I've tried other hdmi cables and different sources with no luck
