Pre Amp w/room correction

So, what's everyone's favorite room correction in a pre amp/processor? I'm not talking about Pioneer's base MCACC, I'm talking something only in a pre/processor.

I had the oppertunity to demo the Mcintosh Room Perfect and it's incredible the difference it makes. Kicks the crap out of my advanced MCACC!

Care to be a bit more specific with details on the "incredible" difference? smile.gif

I have an Integra dhc-80.2 with Audyssey xt32. It does a very good job with my system in my room. I used to have an 80.1 with an older version of xt, the 32 was a nice upgrade.

I get the impression this thread is about non-mass market brand processors with their own brand of RC, not the common bread and butter ones, otherwise it doesn't make sense as popular ones are not exclusive or tied to processors.biggrin.gif

McIntosh licenses Room Perfect from Lyngdorf.

McIntosh also licenses Audyssey. It's used in their MX-121 pre/pro.
Marantz uses Audyssey in their AV7005, AV7701 and AV8801 pre/pros. (The 8801 isn't due for another few months.)
NAD includes a version of Audyssey in their M15 HD2 pre/pro.
Anthem includes their proprietary ARC in their AVM 50v 3D pre/pro.

Both Trinnov and Audyssey have multichannel room correction hardware designed to go between preamp outputs and separate amps.
