New project need advice part 2.

Call me crazy but going scope with a Qumi Q5:p and have a few questions.

Since the Qumi has no zoom I will be mounting back 156" for a 16X9 image of 128"
and would like to fit it on my curved screen I made for the JVC/HE1500 setup.

I have decided to go with the Panamorph FVX200. For one what would be my TR
and can I pull off a curved screen at this distance?

what is the side effects of a curved screen with a VC lens?

I'm surprised no one has commented on this, but if you haven't figured it out yet; you can't use a curved screen with a VC lens.

HE lenses produce pincushion where VC lenses produce barrel distortion. A curved screen with a VC lens would enhance the amount of distortion. You would have to curve the screen backwards to match the barrel distortion, which obviously wouldn't work too well.

So I am working on a new stage for my scope screen and had a question about my UH480 lens.

My 16x9 image is 96" and with a DPX-1300 is 21ftl projected onto the screen and I know this might
sound dumb but with the lens does the lamberts stay the same on the larger 2:35 scope screen?

How can it, the screen is larger right? You get a drop just much less that a zoom CIH setup.

Find the sq feet of the scope screen (sq inches / 12^2) and do a little math. Lumens / sqft. I there is a lumen loss for the lens as well, check into that for your glass.
