Anyone have a manual that explains Faroudja DCDi TrueLife adjustments?

I am using the Crystalio II's Faroudja Fli2300 de-interlacer for analog/sd sources. Faroudja DCDi has some presets like sharp, natural etc.. and custom for about 10 different adjustments. I cant find any explanation anywhere for what they do. if anyone has any info or direct me to right source:)

True life is the sharpening engine of the FLI23xx processors. Wasn't it divided into vertical, horizontal and diagonal sharpness each with a cutoff option for high-frequency details ?

I can't imagine any situation or source material where the Faroudja inside the CII would give you better details than the VXP. Why do you use it ??

I use it on laserdisc. VXP's noise reduction blurs image. Faroudja analog noise reduction and 3d noise reduction at low are perfect. TrueLife if adjusted properly sharpens image without adding much junk. I figured out a few adjustments and already improved picture. I can't figure out the rest.
