How can I improve amp's wattage (Amp is onboard a neo geo mvs)

I am looking to put better speakers in my neo geo arcade cabinet. Unfortunately the on board amp only pushes 5 watts @ 8 ohms! Is there a way to take the 4 speaker wires coming off the board and put them through another amp that will allow me more flexibility with speakers?
