I have used several different wireless headphones, SONY and Sennheiser. Overall, although, at short range, in the office, just across the aisle, I love the Sennheiser, RS 180. A bit pricey but love the fidelity. We have a set of Sennheiser, RS 140 in the living room, I have the RS 180 on my head as I post and my wife has her set on in the living room. We've also used SONY to our satisfaction. Can't say exactly why I gravitate to the Sennheiser over the SONY but if I only had SONY wireless headphones in front of me to buy, I wouldn't hesitate to put a set in the cart. Oh, and FWIW, as backup, not for sale, we have an unused set of SONY, MDR-RFK975RD in the garage. Why? Because wireless headphones have become an important staple in our daily lives.
Hope the above helps.
