setting up home theater speaker system

I can't listen and compare these systems so I like some advice. I have a budget of $600 for a 5.1 system. I am considering the following:

1) polk audio monitor 30s x 4, polk audio CS1 and polk audio PSW10
2) polk blackstone TL1600
3) martin logan MT2
4) energy take classic 5.1
5) other suggestions around this price range??

Since they are all about the same price and I will be using mostly for movies and some music, which one is best? I already have a denon avr2112ci. Also, can the 100 watt 7 channel reciever be used for the PSW10, a subwoofer that has a 50 watt high current amplifier? My living room is 21 x 16 x 9.

3000+ cubic feet will completely overwhelm all of those systems, so you should probably consider alternatives.

Personally I would start with a 3.1 system and then add side surrounds when you can afford them. Although a bit outside your budget a pair of Pioneer SP-FS12 towers with an SP-C22 and a Klipsch RW-12d will be a far better choice. Somewhere down the road you can add a pair of SP-BS22 speakers and you'll have the full 5.1 system

I ended up getting the EMPtek 55 towers, 56 center and two bookshelf speakers to use with my denon avr2112ci. they will be delivered soon. Now I need to get a subwoofer. My two choices are the BIC PL200 and the HSU VTF-1 MK2 for about $200 more. My room is 19 x 16 x 8 with a 5.5 x 6.5 opening and hardwood floors. I want to use 70/30 for movies and music. I don't plan to play too loud. Do you think the BIC will be good enough? It would be nice to save a couple of hundred bucks!!

Why are those the only two choices? For the same $500 you'll spend on the VTF-1 there may be other good options available.

The Klipsch RW12d is again on sale at Newegg.com for $299 (with promotion code). These won't last a lot longer and at the sale price, a very good value.
