Advice for a tv / camera setup

Thread Starter
We are expecting a large amount of visitors for a speech...we figured if we could place a camcorder / higher end camera in the room and place a tv in the other for streaming we could expand this way. Our audio will be over the PA system and since the video is internal I don't envision sync issues.

The question is the setup.

This is what I had in mind.

Of course a couple flat panel tv's...the real question is video distribution.

I assume since we don't have cat 5 runs we can utilize powerline networking. What could I use to distribute to multiple tv's? Also any suggestion for a ceiling mount camera with remote control
(main hall is quite big so zoom and also ability to handle lighting be good), doesn't have to have PTZ capabilities. Sony EVI-D70?

I think I may have posted in the wrong forum, if so I apologize.

I sincerely appreciate any help/suggestions

Just use a wireless A/V system. A regular CCTV camera (includes the Sony EVI-D70) has an analog output (so any sort of network (i.p.) solution wouldn't work.), which just plugs into the transmitter. The receiver then goes at each TV set you want to use.

Or, if there is coax throughout the place modulate the video (audio too, if you want), and distribute it throughout the building that way.

Look at MCM Electronics for CCTV cameras.
