I know that the specs aren't very comparable to each other but the way it has worked out I need to decide on one of them.

- The Pioneer Elite SC-55 is an open box (Display) at Best Buy for $699.
Packed with features (No 4K or solid warranty) 140W/channel (Class D Amp).
The normal 30 day money back and 1 year Best Buy warranty.
It is in perfect shape and works great, but no manual or calibration mic.

- The Integra is of course new and with a 3 Year warranty for $1475.
The DTR 50.4 has a bullet proof Class AB amp and a solid 135W/channel.
A lot of frills but not them all just what you need and nothing extra.

My setup is Bowers and Wilkins CM9, CM5 and a soon to be CMC2.
Right now my room is a very open layout 12' Wide by 28' long (9'x12' around the TV)
But either will be great for this room and any other in the future.

I know they are different but I need a little help deciding which one.
The price is vastly different and the being a year old the features are already behind for te SC-55.

Thanks for any help smile.gif

Add last years Denon 3xxx and 4xxx to the mix as well if you can get a close out?

Are you sure you only get a one year warranty for the SC-55? Even display models are usually good for the full warranty. I got a Marantz SR 7005 display model at Best Buy/ Magnolia
and still get the three year warranty.

I really wanted the Marvell Qdeo, these two have them but the Integra also has the HQV Chip and 4k ability (cant afford one for a few years)

I asked and it would be a 1 year warranty, even though Elite's have a 2 year from Pioneer.

It's just something about that Class D amp in the Elite that has me wondering, I love how cool it runs but AB's sound a little better and all the problems have been well ironed out.

I think I have decided between them, I wish I would have gotten more than 1 vote but thanks anyway for it.
