USB adapters with headphone jacks: Work on HDTVs?

I don't have a headphone jack on my HDTV. It does have a USB port, however. I found this product on newegg:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=12-186-035&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Keywords=%28keywords%29&Page=1#scrollFullInfo

Do you think if I plugged this into my HDTV, it would work properly; not only giving me sound, but also having the sound work on the headphones only and not on the TV speakers?

Here is the HDTV I have:

The model no. is above "Overview".

Won't work. According to the manual for your TV the USB port is for mounting external storage containing media files (pics, videos, music). This is no surprise since this is how most TVs use USB. "Fancier" TVs may use USB for network adapters, too, but not sure.
