Logitech Harmony and Samsung RF remote TV?

Hi!

I'm thinking of buy an Logitech Harmony series remote control, but the TV i'm trying to control is a Samsung UE46B8050 and on the backside of the tv remote it says RF radio frequency. Has anyone got similar TVs working with the Logitech Harmony remote series in the cheaper price range which does not have RF - does the tv also have an IR sensor or is one forced to use the high end Harmonys?

No RF universal remote, including high end harmonys, will work with any RF besides their own RF base. So even if you did get an RF remote, it wouldn't work on your Samsung. However, your TV should have an IR sensor and setting to work with an IR remote.
