Receivers with "Audyssey MultEQ XT" technology - Is there a COMPLETE list somewhere?

Hello,

I would like to order some used receivers for my new house. Currently, I own an Onkyo TX-SR705 - which does feature this room equalization tech.

I want to scour ebay, kijiji, craigslist for the best deals. While performing a search on the official site, I noticed that they only list the newest receiver models.

Is there a more complete list than that on the official site? I don't care if the receiver is 5+ years old, just as long as it includes MultEQ XT.

On the Denon AVRs look for the 2007 [2808, 3808, 4308, 5308], 2008 [2809], 2009 [4310, 4810], and 2010 [3311].

There are 6 pages of receivers listed...for example, on page 6 we find Denon 3808CI. It only goes back about 5 years or so. The Onkyo 705 was made in 2001. I would not expect Audyssey to keep a list of every receiver ever made with their technology in it...at a certain point the receiver is too old to matter any longer.

As for a list of all receivers with this technology - I have not seen one anywhere.

OK. I guess Onkyo and Denon are the two big names that use Audyssey.
I have a pretty good idea what Onkyo has released & thanks to jdsmoothie, I now know what to look for in Denon models.

Wow. The 705 was made in 2001? I thought for sure I bought that thing new, 5-6 years ago!

From what I understand, there are no differences between today's MultEQ XT implementation vs. the first.. is that correct?

Just seems like all I need is room equalization and the bluray audio support.

The Onkyo 705 wasn't from 2001. HDMI wasn't even available back then and certainly not HDMI ver 1.3.

That receiver was first produced in 2007. Check the Amazon reviews, the first one is May 2007.

MultEQ XT was updated a year or two after it's first release in 2005. AFAIK, the version used on current models is the same version since that update in 2007 which is why I started the Denon list with the 2007 models.

It makes sense it would have been released in 2005 due to the number, but I was going by what Amazon said:
