World without end, the miniseries, which is the sequel to Pillars of the earth starts tonight on Reelz. Anyone else gonna watch this? I have the DVR set to record.

Have the DVR set up too. Read the book, looking forward to it. I plan on watching it over the Holidays.

Thank you for that, just set the DVR...

Bummer, Reelz is SD only on Comcast. Wonder why they picked such a low-rent channel for a decent mini.

I'll watch it, but I wish it was still on STARZ.

thankyou! enjoyed pillars...

All I can say is I read both books and the second - the subject of this new mini - was a real slog (as sequels which weren't planned when the original book was written often are). Hope this new production is at least as good as the original, although without the great Ian McShane - the brightest star in Starz's TPOTE - it's hard to imagine how it could be.

Reelz is HD on Charter as well.

So what did you guys think of the first episode????

SD = No Sale. Ridiculous. Why on earth's pillars is this thing on Reelz which doesn't have universal HD carriage? Who in the production of this thing thought that was a good idea?

Don't know what antiquated carrier ( smile.gif )you watch Reelz on, but AT&T U-verse has SD Reelz and HD Reelz.

TWC. A tiny, backwater cable company with only handful of customers. On the other hand, we just got the NFL Network a few weeks ago. Waiting for the inevitable rate hike to pay for that one.

TWC has Reelz in HD on some systems in NY and TX. Comcast carries it in NM in HD. Charter has it in some areas. BrightHouse Networks has it universally. Go beyond that, good luck even finding it. My cable company doesn't even carry this channel in SD.

When U-verse dropped Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, we got Reelz and a couple of other rinky-dink cable channels. Personally, I'd rather have the two Hallmark Channels back.
