Hell, I've seen that. I think. Is that the one with the muddy naked people on the beach?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

More cleanup for films that are just too obscure to even draw any guesses. The connection between this film and Fight Club is that they were both based on novels by Chuck Palahniuk. This one is just as weird as Fight Club, so you if liked that weirdness in Fight Club you'll probably like this one too.

Name this movie (the locker room setting and the actress that was famous for playing this role should be really good clues):

Yes. Lucia (Paz Vega) is walking on the beach and one of the secondary characters is lying down completely covered in mud. Lucia lays down next to him and he rubs mud over her naked body.

I'm surprised you didn't recognize the strip tease scene that I had two caps of. That was a very memorable scene too.

I would have guessed it with a cap of Vega riding that scooter.

LOL. I've got a few more I could post, but they're so obscure they make Sex and Lucia seem like a Hollywood Blockbuster.

I was going to say how that's far from the most memorable scene in that movie. wink.gif

But then I remembered that Paz on the scooter is on the posters and the DVD cover, so it makes sense that a lot of people would remember that image.

Bill - I think he meant David Fincher's third movie - The Game (1997) since he recognized Michael Douglas and maybe Anna Katerina.

Sorry about being slow to respond on this one. Real life interfered with my online time.

I am awarding the point to you Mr. G...smile.gif

IMDB shows Fight Club as the third movie directed by David Fincher and "Finch3" is a bit of a reach for the correct answer to my Name This Movie challenge.

Now that I think about it I should have left that one alone. redface.gif

BTW, a little bit of trivia on this one. The actress, Gwen Verdun, was married to choreographer Bob Fosse. So when you watch All That Jazz and see Bob cheating on his wife with Ann Reinking (and several other dancers), this is the woman he was cheating on. Gwen was also with Bob when he had his fatal heart attack.

Another non-linear Spanish sex romp with an eye shot to continue the eye shot theme. wink.gif

The hint for this one is the woman is watching a sunset but the Sun won't actually set. It'll drop down to the horizon and then rise again.

No it doesn't. It shows that Alien 3 was his first film, Se7en was his second film, and The Game was his third film.

He clearly knew what film was the correct answer - he just got a little "clever" with his answer. Mr. G called it in post #1097.

My wife and I were browsing through Netflix streaming titles a few nights ago and came upon this movie, came out on DVD last year. I saw Paz Vega was in it and it also starred two-time Oscar nominee Janet McTeer. How bad can it be? Well as one critic put it - "Bullets, babes, perverts, Euro travel, secret documents, hitmen, car bombs, and testicular torture. Oh my."

McTeer ended up carrying the movie with her assassin role - sort of reminded me of Helen Mirren in Red but amped up by a factor of ten. The movie was totally trashed by critics and deservedly so but there is still some entertainment value depending on your tolerance of graphic violence and nudity. YMMV.

EDIT: Corrected.
