Thought it would be easy because the actor pictured hasn't been in that much, and the scene is important.

No, I would have identified it as a TV movie - in the ballpark age wise though.

Tom Sizemore – Devil in a Blue Dress

Tom has appeared in quite a few movies, IMO.

Car guy director - Peter Yates (Bullitt). Movie - The Friends of Eddie Coyle. This film is streaming free on Amazon Prime Video. Is that what prompted this entry? wink.gif

Not Wyatt Earp or Tombstone. Hint: The movie was recently released on Blu-ray so that should help.

Correct.

He hasn't been in much I've ever heard of would be a better way to put it I suppose smile.gif He kind of fell out of favor after his "legal troubles." He's one of my favorites in the right role, but I don't think I'd like to go to dinner with him.

Correct. I can't stream, no speed and a low cap anyhow. I don't post anything I don't really like, so I just glanced at my shelf and there it was.

Shanghai Noon! That one has been driving me crazy because I knew those scenes were familiar!

You got it! I thought Walter Goggins would give it away in the first picture and Xander Berkeley in the second. You saved me from really giving it away with a third photo of Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson engaged in the bathtub drinking game. The Blu-ray was released in May with both Shanghai Noon (2000) and Shanghai Knights (2003) on a 50 GB disc with Dolby Digital 5.1 instead of lossless sound. Disappointing that these films were not given a better treatment by Disney/Buena Vista but as one critic put it:
Quote:
The Blu-ray arrives with slightly troubled but still passable picture quality and, in spite of only providing legacy Dolby Digital soundtracks, the audio presentations of both films are far more satisfying. The same sets of supplements are carried over from the previous DVDs, but the overall package makes a decent purchase for fans. Worth a look.

They are both good popcorn movies and I've always enjoyed the fun they bring to the screen.

No one's favorite Ken Russell picture. With good reason. But: you won't know unless you see it.

Review: Lisztomania (1975)

You got it Bill. I remember seeing 2001 - A Space Odyssey when it came out in 1968 at the Cinerama in Hartford, Connecticut. I could not figure out what was going on...Bought the HD DVD a few years ago, and the picture quality is superb...
