Your review of Three Days of the Condor
is what made me think of this film.
It seemed like Neil Simon was on a roll during the 60's and 70's with his plays being turned into movies. Barefoot in the Park
(1967) was quickly followed the big hit The Odd Couple
Robert Redford recreated his role from the Broadway play for this movie. Unfortunately Elizabeth Ashley (who I've always found attractive) had her Broadway role given to Jane Fonda. Fonda and Redford were paired previously in - The Chase
(1966) and would be again in The Electric Horseman
Redford would follow this film with what I consider his 'break-out' role in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
