No, because in the first Resident Evil movie, the shot was framed at 1.85:1. In RE: Extinction, the footage is cropped to 2.35:1, like the screenshot.

Unless it's a similar call-back shot in a later movie. I suppose that's also possible.

Yes - i didn't realize this and apologize. To be fair I think they should both get a pint point.

Winner! I love the opening chase scene in this film, and I agree the Brosnan is as under appreciated as they get.

Music challenge. No specific movie this time, just an 8-second intro to classic rock.

Damn. Since I hadn't see it until yesterday I figured it would be obscure. It's a mental thing.

Some other actress gets credit as the animation model, but Holli is indeed voiced and played by Basinger in the real world.

I avoided this because at the time a friend told me it was "shockingly bad". True, it's not good, but comes from a strange place and made me thoughtful.

Holli Would or Jessica Rabbit? I think Holli has no sexual feelings: it's just a manipulative power. Jessica is...different.

If you got to sleep with Holli Would, you wouldn't think much of it because for the right price, she would probably sleep with most anyone.

If you got to sleep with Jessica Rabbit, you would know you were one of a very select, chosen few.

Heh..it's the only movie I know with Elizabeth Pena. I didn't remember the dog in it, so I was puzzled at first. Jacob's Ladder is a favorite of mine.

I had an enthusiastic rant about this when it was in the theater, but I've forgotten all the details now. The Blu-ray has little bits I'm not remembering at all.

I'm just getting around to reading Meister Eckhart.
