can someone explain Yamaha 697 vs 897

I have been looking all day and have not found any difference other than the 897 is higher in price. Both have the same reciever. I have an older yamaha HTIB and was quite happy with it, but I need an update.

The information and specs are on the Yamaha site but basically the 697 has a 6.5" driver for the sub and the 897 has 10" driver for the sub, so based on the sub alone the 897 would be the better of the two systems.
