Corner TV Surrounds Placement

I was hoping for some advice on 5.1 surround left and right speakers and placement. I'm stuck having the TV in the corner and there's not really any great spot for the surrounds. I'm only really concerned with the sound on the main couch with the chaise. Room is about 19' deep by 23' wide. It's hard to place them on the sides (left wall has door and right wall seems far away) so I'm wondering if both should go on the back wall. If so, the Left would be above the door and high. I'm also open to bipolar speakers if that would be better. Any recommendations on budget surrounds would be great. I'm only looking to spend $350 or so for the pair. There are lots of corner tv threads but all of them seem to have the couch against the back wall.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

ps- Yes, the tv stand is ugly. It was left with the house and we haven't bought a new one yet.

Have you thought about mounting the TV above the firplace?

Thanks for the suggestion. I think that would make it easier audio-wise but the tv would have to be mounted too high.
