How to calibrate XBR960 using Avia?

Hi, I'm looking to calibrate my XBR960. If you've seen my other thread you'll know I'm having some problems with input lag at the moment, but after I get that fixed I want to use the service menu to calibrate the picture, because quite frankly, it's horrible right now: the colors look faded, the focus is way off (the left and right sides are blurry compared to the center), the geometry is off, there's a bit of a "snow" effect; it's just not a good viewing experience the way it is right now. So, I want to calibrate it. I have Avia (only the DVD, no blue filter or anything else) but have no idea what to do with all these test patterns. There's just so many service menu settings and I don't which ones to use and how to use them in accordance with each test pattern.
