New Samsung BD player question

I noticed my new Samsung BD player has pic modes while playing a BD movie under "Tools". The default is Standard. Is that the correct mode for it to match my PS3's output? (I don't want the player to alter the signal in any way.)

I can not specifically remember measuring it on a Samsung player, but in every instance I can remember Standard would be the correct choice. Movie or Cinema modes often raise the gamma to give what they feel is a more cinematic look.

no, but the AVS disc wasn't playing at first on the Samsung player... so I calibrated with the PS3

I think it should work now.
