after many problems with my samsung led dlp they have agreed to replace it with either the un60es6500 or the pn60e7000 . I'll have to pay 500$ .my room is fairly dark tv is 15' to20' from where I view from ,I also have small kids is either screen more durable in case one of them hits it ? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated thanks

Sounds like a decent deal. The screens are very vulnerable to getting hit. My dog just tipped a guitar over and broke our Samsung PN58B650. It barely hit it, but enough to crack the screen and short the panel out underneath. Get a screen protector if you're worried about your kid throwing something? It will be well worth the peace of mind.

We bought the Samsung PN60E550 as a quick replacement, not having the cash to shell out at a moment's notice. It's a great TV and we are quite happy with it. The 7000 can only be better. I sit from 12 feet to 15 feet when I lean back against the couch and the 60 is a good size (although 80 would be really cool). biggrin.gif
