HHGREGG.COM using coupon code SPOOKY11 for 11% off.
More like $1424
No, they already have it at $50 off so it is $1379.05 after the extra 11% as the OP indicated.
I'm not seeing the $50 off either so it keeps coming up at $1424 ... but it is saying the deal is good until 10/31 at 11:59 pm

Try creating a user account or logging in if you have one. HHGREGG's site is odd and won't show the lowest price until you log in as a customer

Do you guys think I should pull the trigger on this or wait until black friday? Im set on this PJ based on the reviews I've read and the fact that the 3D is much improved over the 3010.
Did you go for it? I tried to order but there was no stock and the system would not allow backordering.

Amazon has lowered the 3010 to $1299 but at $68 more the 2d conversion would have been better for me.

Maybe a sale will resurface once there is more stock on the 3020's

Yeah I had to do it but i kept the window purchase open for about 4 hours debating it, I wanted an entry level projector, was looking to spend around $1200 max but this was to good to pass up.

Something weird happened though, I tried using my mastercard which has more than triple the balance and it kept denying it saying something about the backend, had to use a visa. I ended up confirming my order until 11:57 EST biggrin.gif.

When you add in the fact it comes with two pairs of the new RF glasses, that I bevieve they charge close to $100.00 each for, I think you did a good job and hit your mark...That gives you two high end glasses for you and another viewer that may use the projector alot more on a regular basis, and for guest you can buy a boat load of the $20.00 dollar Samsung RF's. I think this projector makes up ground in the price depatment from a glasses standpoint.
Can't wait to see what you think about the new and improved 3D on this projector..Please post your thoughts on it.

Looks like the 11% Deal is back up biggrin.gif Use the code NOVEMBER11
post #13 of 23
read the fine print does not apply to front projectors...bummer:mad:
If you put it in your cart and apply the coupon it does work. But I did not fully check out. I bet it does work.
It lets you the code november11 but after tax and shipping not worth it, I live in ga. So I guess I'll wait until its on sale online!
I pulled the trigger at $1,442.89 shipped. Not sure if there will be any BF deals or not. Thanks, Op!

Beats 1599.00 fo sho!
I can't add it to my cart, no matter what zip code I put in it says
"This product is not available in this ZIP code. Please enter another ZIP code."

It will let me add different items to the cart just fine. I'm wondering if they are out of stock or they temporarily disabled ordering it since the 11% discount was too good.
Yeah, I am wondering if that's for local pickup only, perhaps? Or not able to be combined? I just bought it anyway, it's a great deal regardless, IMO. No one else would discount it, I asked several vendors.
Same thing happened to me and I had it in my cart for 2 days! Bogus!
I understood from another vendor that there's not much margin in these so it's still a killer deal...

The 3020 is currently $100 off at VisualApex, $1499 total with free 2 day shipping and the WOW calibration disc included. I jumped all over it as it seems discounts on this pj are hard to come by!

Edit: Projectorpeople has it for the same price, just without the WOW disc.

The day I bought mine for $1,442 from HHGregg, I called VisualApex and asked if they could price match or even get close as I'd prefer to buy from them. They said they couldn't, but to send them the invoice so they could see what was going on (sounded like they could then offer a discount long-term, but not for me), so I emailed them my invoice... perhaps that helped? smile.gif
