12x14 Dedicated Home Theater

I am going to start construction of my 12x14 Home Theater. I need some help on some things though.
I am trying to get a second row of seating but I am not sure if I will end up pushing the front row to close to the screen.

I am thinking a 92" screen 16x9. Some help would be great though!

As far as equipment It will be:
Optoma HD20 projector
Denon AVR789 reciever
Definitive BP7006's fronts
Definitive CLR2002 center
Definitive BP 1.2x rears

Where is the door? A second row of seating could be done in that room as long as you don't need the extra room required by reclining chairs. In my dedicated build (the link in my sig does not contain a current pic of my plan), the distance from the screen to the back of the rear couch is just about 14 feet.

You could use rocker style theater seats for your back row which might take up a little less space allowing you to pull your front row away from the screen wall some.

If I were to do that, I think I would do that in the front row. I would like a love-seat configuration similar to this for the rear.

With what you guys see, do you think I would be OKAY with 2 rows?

I am also in the process of theater construction and I haven’t figured out how i am going to do the back seats. I like your floor plan, I have a similar sized room but my ceilings are pretty low (7'). How much leg room do you plan to have for the back seats? I see that the viewer’s head will be 4' 6" back from the front viewers head.

I used the riser calculator and looks like i will need 9" for the riser. here are the dimensions:
Floor to bottom of screen 36"
Height of seated front row viewers top of head 42"
Height of rear row viewers eyes 36"
Screen to front row viewers eyes 10'6"
Screen to back row viewers eyes 15'
Minimum riser height 8 9/16"

Does anyone think I should switch to a 10 x 16 room instead of 12 x 14? I was thinking it will give me more space for viewers eyes but worried is only 10 foot width is not wide enough.

10' wide would be very difficult. Especially if you plan to put anything on the walls i.e. speakers (unless high enough) or any type of sound dampening. If you want 3 seats per row comfortable you need a minimum 12' ideally 16'.

Just my opinion
