how much they cost?

I noticed that ms517 has a 190 w lamp but outputs 2800 lumens! Thats pretty high number!
My sony qualia is probably 700 watt lamp with 1600 lumens..

Are these apples to oranges numbers? what am I missing?

they call it "eco friendly" - because of their dimming feature? Nice.. but I wish people came out with LED lamps.. which offer a lot more brightness per watt.. and much less heat..

Advertised lumens can not be relied upon just like dynamic contrast ratio. Too many entry level projectors, after calibration, emit less than 50% of the advertised brightness.

I don't have too many experience with BenQ, but usually they are of very good value.
