Upgrading pana th-50pz800u

Hello,

My wife and i need to purchase a tv for our bedroom and are unsure if we should retire our th-50pz800u to the bedroom and purchase a new pana st line or just buy a cheaper tv for the bedroom.

I guess the question is how much has the pana plasmas improved? I hate to spend $2000 ona new tv and not get much improvement.

I had a 50pz800u in the past I can confidently tell you that the picture quality improvement you will see with the new ST line will be astonishing. I wouldn't hesitate. The new Panny's are just about on the same level as the Pioneer Elites.

Just to give you an idea my progression was pz800u, Pioneer Kuro (500m), 65VT50
