Question regarding multiple devices with Samsung HW-E450/ZA soundbar.

Hello everybody. I'm trying to wrap my head around these connections, so I figured I'd come here for a little guidance. I have a Samsung HW-E450/ZA soundbar, and it's currently hooked up to my PS3 without any issues. Cox Communication has given me a pretty good deal on TV, so now I'm throwing a cable box into the mix. Do I need to get my receiver out of of the closet so that I can use my soundbar for both TV and PS3? Or is there a way to hook it up that I'm just not thinking of?

My TV doesn't mention anything about ARC and the TV itself doesn't say "ARC" next to the HDMI ports. I assume Viera Link isn't the same thing as ARC. So I'm guessing I'm going to have to go with an optical cable from the TV to the soundbar. Thank you very much Possumgirl. Your input is more than appreciated.
