A new September survey shows more people are watching content through Amazon Prime Instant Video than Netflix.
Among four previous surveys dating back to 2010, Netflix’s market share has fallen 9% while Amazon’s has risen 15%. Also, 18% of Netflix subscribers now pay for Amazon Prime Instant Video – up 4% since the previous survey.

The Bethesda, Md.-based research firm found that 22% of respondents watched online video content via Amazon Prime Instant Video compared to 17% in February. Two percent more (8% vs. 6%) watched Hulu Plus while 16% opted for transactional video-on-demand via iTunes compared to 15% in February.
