It's 422.82$ on Amazon.... I was wondering if there is a cheaper (but still good quality) ceiling mount available for that projector?

The mounts that projector manufacturers (not just Panasonic) sell are usually more expensive than after-market mounts.

Quality mounts like the Peerless PRG-UNV (universal mount) will handle the AE8000 just fine.

Pick your color of choice...LINK.

BTW - there is a dedicated thread for the AE8000 over the $3000+ forum.

+1 to the Peerless PRG-UNV mount. I bought one for my 24lb. JVC DLA-HD250, and even though I paid more than I was initially prepared to pay for a mount (~$160 CDN), it's been worth every penny: It's solidly made, it was a snap to install and it's highly - and easily - adjustable.
