It's on sale for $299 again at Newegg. I like movies and music, and need to supplement the bass for music. Got Polk Monitor 70 Series
2's. Wouldn't mind that movie theater boom either for movies. But I do want a decent sounding sub, which of course has different meanings for different people. Without my life story, and me only being able to spend $300, should I get a smaller, better sub? Should I just wait until I get $400 or $500 and get something that is more stable? (- a better quality, less "sketchy" or "volatile" sub?) I would love to stay at $300. The room is 10' by 20' and I've never had a subwoofer except for 2.1 computer systems. I won't be blasting the crap out
of it all of the time, but I don't want to hear any port noise or rattles from it or whatever. I prefer quality, moderate volume sound, but maybe I can't have that for $300. ANY input would be a great help and would lower my blood pressure!
