If your mother board has UEFI BIOS, you need to use the sas2flash.efi instead of dos (sas2flsh.exe). (note flash vs flsh)
There's an efi firmware file for your M1015. From what I can tell, every 'PAL' error has required the efi flash procedure, maybe not justmotherboards that have UEFI
5th post of this thread has the info for what to do AFTER running megarec
make DOS bootable USB + firmware + efi shell + efi firmware- boot & run megarec commands to wipe card (sounds like you've already done this)
boot into MB efi shell, select shell_full.efi from USB (more detail on the link above)
CD to efi firmware directory (wherever sas2flash.efi is)
> sas2flash.efi -l Flashlog.txt -o -f 2118it.bin -b mptsas2.rom (omit "-b mptsas2.rom" if you don't want a boot menu for the card)
> sas2flash.efi -o -sasadd 500605bxxxxxxxxx
Where 500605bxxxxxxxxx is replaced by SAS Address from Adapters.txt
I've done this successfully on 1 M1115 & will be doing it again shortly on another.
