Looking for a first pvr

Hello,
I have been searching the internet, looking for my first pvr.

I do not need it to record in HD.
And I do not need much recording time. Maybe 20 hours.

I would like to spend maybe $120 or under.
I could buy a refurbished box also.

However I do not want a monthly subscription.
I could record like an old vcr. Put in time and channel number.
But if there was a free on screen menu that would be great.

And I would need an IR control to set the cable box.

I would prefer HDD, but a dvd burner would also be ok.

I have searched everything from Hauppauge to Philips DVDR3455H (later on this page)

Any ideas?
