Best full range wall mount speakers?

If money were no object and you wanted some wall mount (not in wall) speakers - what would you get?

Here you go.

http://www.jamesloudspeaker.com/index.cfm?page=by_series&id=31&sr=1

If I wanted onwall I would have James put the 812BE in a custom box which they do on any of the inwalls.

According the the company they only play down to 40hz. That's not a full range speaker. I think a full range speaker needs to be able to play down to 25hz without a subwoofer. I don't know of any full range speakers that are wall mountable. You would need custom mounts. Most all true full range speakers are very large and that makes wall mounting them difficult. Wall mounting a full range speaker is really not a good idea because of placement problems. You would probably lose its full range capability by mounting it on the wall.

My bad...

I use James Baby Grand Concerto's now. The 812BE will come later...

Maybe the QX series in a custom box?

Thanks - very strange company - you have must have a dealer login just to get product literature and there are no good pictures on their website. There are also next to nil reviews on their products.

I have James in my house and I can tell you they are amazing. If you are near a big city you should be able to find a dealer. I have even called them direct with questions and they always treat me very well and with respect. They are not cheap... You do have to go through a dealer.

Have to add never heard the company called strange.

Amazing High-End Home Theater. When you crank it up, everything is clear and distortion levels are low. You don’t lose dialogue even at high levels.”

Glad you let us know, we've been looking all over for him.

I would get some of these.... http://www.mcintoshlabs.com/us/Products/pages/ProductDetails.aspx?CollectionId=ReferenceSystemAudioHomeTheater&CatId=Speakers&ProductId=XRT2K

I know they aren't wall mounted, but they look crazy!!! I would love to hear some of these, but would hate to see the price tag. 452 lbs. per speaker... Frequency Response = 16H - 45kHg

Sorry again, was looking at their site to try to find some wall mounts but they have none... just thought you might want to take a look.

Thanks, They're on the wall. I can't believe you couldn't figure this out.

I think I'll compare the Paradigms, the Mythos and possibly the Totems. I might consider the James but since there is so little in the way of reviews, pricing and zilch for product literature for potential clients I'm probably going to pass.

You should be very happy with the Paradigms or the Def Techs. I don't know anything about Totem but IMO You can't even compare James Loudspeakers to these... I used Def Tech before I went to James Loudspeakers and they were great. Two of my neighbors use Paradigm and I also like them. Again Totem ???. James loudspeakers will not disappoint.

I'm not a dealer we just like music and a good movie.

Good luck on what you ears choose for you because thats what matters. Have fun...

Yes , my sentence structure was not the best. I meant paradigm and Def Tech. Not Totem because I don't know anything about them so I would not want to comment. Sorry for the bad sentence structure. Lol

Since money is no object - contact Triad, and have them custom build you something.
http://www.triadspeakers.com/index.html

Pure custom products
"If your speaker needs go beyond our nearly 100 stock products, we have a custom department
that can do anything from modifying an existing Triad design to fit a space, to designing a unique
one-off speaker to fit the most specific of needs. Pricing and lead times are reasonable."

These would work for me for on wall speakers.

Triad is another great speaker as zieg said. They do custom like James loudspeakers. Let your ears be the judge.

The triads might sound good but for some reason they look butt ugly to me - like concert speakers.

They should be able to put a custom finish on them.

The Triads are great but most of them are designed to be used with a sub even the awesome platinum. So if you are looking for full range without a sub they wouldn't be my first choice. With a sub that is a different story.
